Aromacomtois
Wild resinous essential oils distilled in the heart of the Jura mountains.
Between forest harvesting and low-pressure distillation, Aromacomtois develops an artisanal approach deeply connected to the Jura landscape.
Jura, France
A forest distillation rooted in Jura conifers.
Aromacomtois produces essential oils from wild conifers harvested in the Jura forests: silver fir, Douglas fir, spruce, larch and Scots pine.
Their approach combines wild harvesting, collaboration with the National Forestry Office and low-pressure distillation to preserve aromatic integrity.
Beyond essential oils, the distillery also develops soaps, cosmetics and handcrafted forest-based products.

Distillation Philosophy
Preserving the aromatic breath of the plant.
Aromacomtois works with low-pressure distillation allowing a gentler and more faithful extraction of aromatic compounds.
This slower approach prioritizes olfactory quality and preservation of complex resinous profiles over maximal yield.
The oils directly evoke the forest: fresh needles, living resin, vegetal humidity and woody depth.

Forest Terroir
Here, the forest becomes aromatic matter.
Resin, humidity, altitude and light shape the identity of the oils.
